 ofsted good

We are all very proud of our school and hope that you will come to share that feeling with us.  Through this website we have tried to set out a view of life at Pixmore, the activities and opportunities that are available to the children and practical points of procedure that you will need to know.

Our Ethos

Pixmore is a happy, caring school in which children and adults are valued and respected. This is reflected in the way that we reward all those working in the school for their positive contributions.

We aim for a purposeful but relaxed atmosphere. We find that children work best in a calm, friendly environment where courtesy, common sense and consideration for others is expected.

We have a positive approach to behaviour and encourage children to consider others by learning self discipline and respect for others and for the school.

At Pixmore we offer a stimulating environment in which the efforts of children are valued.
We expect high standards in all aspects of school life, i.e. in attitudes to learning and to other people, presentation of work and of self.

Our aims

Our new aims and mission statement were agreed at the end of last term by our staff, parent forum and school council:

All learning together, creating moments to celebrate.

Pixmore is a happy and safe school where we:

Respect ourselves and others

Embrace individuality

Celebrate culture and diversity

Inspire a love of learning
