Cooking in the Curriculum

At Pixmore the children cook once each term either a savoury or sweet dish.  We ask for £7 for the year to cover the cost of the ingredients.  By the time the children leave Pixmore in Year 6 they should have learnt how to peel, chop etc healthy vegtables and fruit, as well as being able to make 8 savoury dishes and 4 sweet dishes.

Apple Fruit cake in the Autumn

Guacamole with pitta bread in the Spring
