Dear Pupils, parents and carersHello again! Have you submitted your Easter Picture yet? Please do so - it would be lovely to see your artwork. The winners will be chosen by an online vote and I’ll also show them in my next newsletter.Sadly we were not able to do the PSA Easter Egg Hunt this year but hopefully you could do one in your garden or house/flat?  If it’s wet weather perhaps an Indoor Egg Hunt?Or you could get some cress seeds and make an Easter Cress Head. Sun Safe

The lovely Easter weather made me think that this is a good opportunity to remind parents of our Sun Safe policy and procedures. At school, we reduce the lunch time so the last 15 minutes are ‘Cool Down time’. Our shade sail is currently being replaced, after recent storm damage but hopefully should be back for after half term. Many of our PE lessons are in the afternoon, so in the heat, teacher’s will plan to have frequent ‘cool down’ breaks, all children can access water and shade or in some instances alternative activities (but this is left to the teacher’s discretion, once the outside temperature and UV levels are determined). It would help your child in school...

Medication

I know that many children suffer from allergies or hay fever at this time of year, so please can we ask that AN ADULT sign in any ‘emergency’ medication with the school office. Remember that if your child requires access to an asthma pump then they should keep one in their classroom and an emergency pump should be given to the school office for safe keeping. DO NOT send your child to school with medication, all medication needs to be signed in by an ADULT and collected at the end of the day by an ADULT
