Welcome back from half term

Welcome back from half term

It was so lovely to see Year 5/6 children on the gate this morning – even if I got soaked doing gate duty !  There were lots of smile and hopefully open minds and lovely memories of half term to share.

Which  reminds me please send your child in with  the following:

A waterproof coat (even if they are getting out of a car !) they will need it during the school day.

Wellies or waterproof shoes (we now have Class storage boxes where umbrellas and wellies can be kept outside the classroom so they dry off and they can change into their trainers when they arrive)

A full water bottle.

Please label everything !

We know that our families will have some new challenges around Thursdays forthcoming restrictions. Please know that we care and we are here to help. Our school guidance has yet to be updated but we will let you know any changes that impact on the children and yourselves.

However, at the start of this next half term we will be reminding the children about our on site arrangements and routines so please do your bit too by wearing a mask when you are on the school site and standing socially distant from other parents /carers. Email or call the school if you wish to speak to staff and if you do need to come into school please wear a face covering.

We will be updating the HOME LEARNING Page  today but please bear with us on the first day back !
