Parents Forum
At Pixmore School we take the views of parents and carers seriously and aim to work in partnership with you to support your child’s learning and well-being.
The Pixmore Parent & Guardian Forum was created to give parents and guardians the opportunity to meet on a regular basis to discuss a range of issues related to their child's education and wellbeing and to get to know each other. Coffee, tea and cakes are provided and a small selection of toys, coloring sheets and pens are available for those with young children.
The Forum, which meets semi-termly, provides parents and guardians with an opportunity to voice their views on what is happening at the school and participate in decision-making processes that support Pixmore's drive for improvement; we value your input and your feedback is taken seriously. Your feedback has contributed to informed decisions about homework, fundraising, road safety, special educational needs, and changes to the curriculum.
Meetings are led by Sue Willans, our SENCo, and Caroline Nicholson, our Chair of Governors; other staff members may also contribute depending on the topic of discussion. We also invite speakers from other agencies to talk about topics that interest us.
If you have an issue you would like to discuss, please email admin@pixmore.herts.sch.uk and we will try to accommodate it even if you are unable to attend in person.
Please remember that any personal matters concerning your child should be brought to the attention of class teachers or Mrs Inman in the first instance as we respect your privacy and the forum is for more general discussions.
